Life on an 1857 Farm in Wisconsin.
Can't wait. And looooove the Halloween display.
And the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down....Well - certainly glad the sale is not this weekend. Insert smile. We got some rain - small lake in the apple orchard. Wet, wet, wet.My office is in Trempealeau County -- which was declared a "state of emergency" in Wisconsin. Feel so bad for people displaced from their homes and for the farmers -- fields awash. We are fine -- just soggy. Smile.Kari
Forgot to mention....the night of "the rain" -- Wednesday into Thursday, Hope moved her litter of kittens to high safe ground in the barn...found them Thursday morning inside a mower grass catcher that was set up-right in a garbage can. She sensed danger. The barn was dry and fine -- but animals do have that sense. I moved all the babies back to the nesting box last night.Kari
