"In like a lion", I suspect.....snow, drizzle, wind, rain.
But that means "out like a lamb" -- right?
Here comes March, just around the corner from February.
Filled with shamrocks & Good Luck.
most adorable dog & shamrock teapot
Bingo balls in a green compote
1908 beaded Good Luck horseshoe
Come on March, bring it on....we are ready.

As of right now (Tuesday morning) this "storm" is forecasted to unleash gobs of fluffy/icy white stuff in Wisconsin above the imaginary line between north & south... so far I think I live on the south side of it. ? Time will tell...
Seriously though, I think I have only shoveled TWICE this year. That's unheard of. But I am NOT complaining! That still doesn't keep me from being enthusiastic about the "out like a lamb" possibility.
I'm wishing for the best possible storm outcome for your area and mine, and the next day the crocuses pop up, and we all live happily ever after.
Getting snow, over ice...walking with little careful steps...Dave fell twice. Animals all hunkered down in the barn. Can hear sleet on the windows.... Weather far worse north of us. Winter is back.
**sure like that "next day the crocuses pop up, and we all live happily ever after" about now.
We're an hour-and-a half apart, and we got rain. RAIN! And a 5-second long clap of thunder at 3:30 a.m. that woke everybody up.
Our schools are all closed...I am on a planned day off, so hunkered down. Nothing moving too fast outside. Such a strange storm system.
amen!!!!!! I'm ready for sunny skies, green grass and daffodils..
