I have become a fan of the serene feel of white.
As I love white on white decorating...
I love color more, so have never quite gone that route entirely.
But creamy, subtle white most definitely lives here.
Ironstone with pearls, a glass tray over book plates.
A wash bowl filled with buttons.
Sweet little white surprises tucked in a glass front cupboard.
My white collections include:
swans, Ironstone, vintage lace, doves, enamelware pitchers, sheep.

This weekend I ordered new carpeting and new bedding for my "white room" (guest room)since it's been the "white room" long enough.... and then I see your message today and think.... oh, oh...... maybe I shouldn't change it! Great timing Kari!

While red is my color, lately I have been drawn to the whites and nutral colors seen all over blogland. Would I tire quickly of living in such a plain world or would whites keep me calm? I do know that my hubby is a color man and if he had his way we would live in a house full of Fiesta ware colors. Every room a brite color and different from the other. I think that would be a bit much. Don't you?
