Color Collection: blue

In my home, blue represents cool, quiet, calm.
It is a soothing color...

Blue bottles...sometimes in a row, sometimes in a cluster.

A hint of blue in my vintage trim basket.

A blue ice cream bucket, now a planter.

I wake to forget-me-not blue on the walls of my bedroom.
Our three entry doors to our house are blue.
Blue bids welcome, good day...
it will all be O.K.

My blue collections include:
Ball canning jars, blue bird dishes, blue spatter ware, anything with vintage blue paint.

Do you collect blue?

Feeling just a bit blue these days with the serious lack of comments -wonder if this little old blog is at the end of the road, and perhaps would best serve thru a "every now & again" post regarding my Barn Sale. Will think on this thru August....
Might be time to take a break.

I have quite a collection of cobalt blue glass, it's all out on the back porch where there are large windows and plenty of sun to shine through it. Blue is my favorite color.

Kari, I look at your blog every single day. I know a lot of people "blog lurk" without commenting. If I'm pressed for time on a particular day, I may not comment, but I still read. If you start posting less frequently, I will miss your posts. I feel it's important to let you know that.

A request: goat tales & photos. Please? I can't have a goat, but I can live goat-vicariously through your stories! And you know I'm a sucker for the kitten photos. And photos of your gardens through through the seasons. I will be quiet and await your next gift to us. Thank you.

Cheryl...thanks for the kind words, really meant lots -- sometimes you just don't know.
And Jani -- what can I say?

Kari don't be blue. I think it is just that time of year when everyone is busy and spending more time outside than in by their computers.Trying to squeeze every little bit out of summer you can. I predict you will see a definate increase as it gets closer to fall, kids are back in school and the pace slows a little.
